Innovations

Uniclic® Technology

Advantage: Install panels in 2 ways: by angling or snapping. Glue-less clic allows you to install the floor of your dreams with a simple click. It’s fast, clean and easy! Method 1: Angle Connecting floor boards by a rotational movement (under an angle). i1 Method 2: Snap Connecting floor boards by horizontal insertion. This is very important in areas where angling is difficult or impossible (under door frames or radiators for example). i2 The pretension force compensates machine tolerances and avoids gaps between the panels, so that dust, dirt and moisture cannot enter in between two panels. Tongue and groove are designed with a small overlap. When they are connected, the lower lip of the groove is bent out. As a result, it is pushing back due to the flexibility of the material. This pretension force creates a constant tension in the joint and avoids gaps between the panels, so that dust, dirt and moisture cannot enter. It can also compensate small (milling) machine tolerances. The anti-creaking noise feature avoids creakings noises one can hear when walking on a floor. When walking on a floor, creaking noises can sometimes be heard with every footstep one takes. The anti-creaking noise feature is all about giving extra fixation between the panels to avoid these annoying creaking noises. The combination of strength in the joint and high installation comfort. The application of wax (paraffin) in the click profile is available because the wax acts as a lubricant so that boards pop in their end position even more easily. Wax is also very helpful in making the anti-creaking noise solution complete. QS_Uniclic

UNICLIC® LOCKING SYSTEM MAKES INSTALLATION FAST AND EASY

The patented locking system that we created revolutionized the industry, eliminating the need for glue. With Uniclic®, you simply snap the planks or tiles together – using either an angled or sliding motion.

  1. So strong it carries a limited lifetime residential warranty.
  2. Ensures a damage-resistant surface.
  3. Guarantees no height differences between boards.
  4. Can be walked on immediately after it is installed!
  5. Can be removed and reinstalled.

Beveled edges ensure the planks click into each other to form a solid, lasting connection. The under lip of the groove is shaped like a wedge, spreading the tension and protecting it from damage.

Arta Clic®   LAMINATE FLOORS STRUCTURE

FOUR LAYERS

1) Wear layer: This easy-to-clean surface contains aluminum oxide which protects the floor from stains, fading and wear

2) Image design layer: A photographic image of wood, stone, or virtually anything you can imagine.

3) Inner core layer: The core provides the floor’s structural strength and stability. It is made from high-density fiberboard (HDF).

4) Backing layer: Found beneath the inner core, the backing is made with resin saturated paper.  It creates a moisture barrier that protects the floor from warping.
