Introduction to Arta Plast

As a subsidiary of Arta Industrial Group, Arta Plast manufacturing plant was started in 2003, operating in Namin district of Ardebil province with the purpose of production of polymer films for Packaging Industries and also as the first manufacturer of  five layer and printing films. Arta Plast is proud to have available to it the most modern technology from  Wind Moller’, Germany’s most renowned and reliable producer and manufacturer of three and five layer polyethylene films, utilized in light and heavy industry packaging and used in the packaging for various industries including hygiene, food, Pharmaceutical, engineering and Medical, and finally dairy Industries. Arta Plast has also the most complete Fischer 10- color flexo printing systems with the capability of printing on all kinds of PE, Bopp, PET, PVC, OPA, PA packaging films in the Middle East. Having acquired the necessary licenses  (no 194-8692)  from Iran’s Ministry of Health and  implementing ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and with the production at a daily capacity of 30 tons of polyethylene films, an ambitious step was taken by Arta Plast not only for the fulfillment of local demand, but also  for a prominent presence in international markets.

Film Division

Arta Plast’s is one of the largest manufacturers of Multi-layered polyethylene films.  The film production equipment consist of 3 and 5 layer films made by Germany’s Wind Moller   with the thickness of 20 up to 350 Micron and maximum of 2200mm in sheets and 4400 mm in the form of tubes.

The list of film products are:

5 layer with EVOH or Polyamide layer (suitable for packaging of long term products, Thermoforming and laminate.

  1. Laminate films for  Doypack and Sachet
  2. Pre Pack films for  the Dairy Industry
  3. Films specific to Cellulose and Health  Products Industry
  4. FFS films for packaging of Petrochemical Products equipped with Embossing and Gusseting.
  5. Industrial shrink pack films with superior mechanical properties, good for food industries.
  6. Protection films to be used as Industrial Protective Covering for metal, steel and composite sheets and construction material.

Design Division

This division takes advantage of capabilities of its highly experienced and professional design staff and most advanced design and photography systems to provide within shortest time possible charge-free consultation service in the course of printing and packaging and design-related affairs.

Printing division No.1

This division provides the service of 10- color flexo print, with a maximum width of 1300mm on a variety of PE, BOPP, PET, PVC, AI, OPA and PA films making use of Europe’s state of the art technology of Europe and the systems made by  Fischer &  Krecke, Germany.

Printing Division No.2

Third division provides the service of a 4-color print on specialty films like FFS and such additional services such as Gusseting and Embossing. The high quality systems used in this unit are made by Wind Muller of Germany with the capability of winding/ unwinding the holts to a maximum diameter of 1500mm. 

Laminate Division

2 and 3 layer heat seal and cold seal Laminates and coverings with various thicknesses and production of composite films with solvent free  and solvent adhesive properties are made with advanced equipment from Italy’s Nordmeccanica with 400 meters per minutes speed.

Also this equipment can add adhesive on the back of protective films covering sheets and composite coverings.

Cutting Division

The machinery in this unit are capable of cutting polymer films such as PET, BOPP, PE, Paper, Aluminum Foils of different widths (3-1300cm). The machinery used in the unit is made by Germany’s PSA company with a maximum capacity of cutting at a rate of 600m/1 min.

Packet/Bags Sewing Unit

This unit is equipped with high speed lines for sewing and production of bags and sacks used in advertising with durable thermal, adhesive based handles and also handles with strings. The unit can also provide three-sided sewing for vacuum sacks.

Quality control Unit

With a state of the Art Laboratory, Quality Control procedures and Material Testing is continuously performed on packaging plastic of various specifications. It includes performing Tension Testing systems using Germany’s ZWICK, Oxygen Throughput Rate (OTR) and Water Vapor Throughput Rate (WVTR) testing using equipment made by Britain’s SYSTECH on all films passing through the production line. Meanwhile, Quality Control Inspectors continuously monitor all incoming raw materials, the materials going through the production process and the final products.
